Inclusive and professional. Source: One.com
Bearing this in mind, Ariadna and Veronica founded #Generistas, and which Paula joined afterwards. In this multidisciplinary YouTube channel, they speak about gender, inclusive language in Translation, and other aspects of personal and professional life, such as sports or fundamental rights for women and other groups, like the LGTBI one.
Furthermore, they do so from a multiple linguistic and cultural point of view because each of them comes from a different continent (Ariadna and Paula are from Argentina, and Veronica is from Spain), and, in turn, each of them lives in an even more different country (Argentina, Denmark and the United Kingdom).
In the first episode, which we present today, Veronica and Ariadna immerse themselves in the controversial (although this doesn’t mean that it can’t be arguable) inclusive language.
They will speak about the different Spanish varieties present in Argentina and Spain, why the Royal Academy of Spanish language refuses to accept this sort of changes, and they debate about specific questions that colleagues had sent them previously in this regard.
